Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients: 

1 pound
ground round
1 pound
ground pork
20
Saltines
1/2 medium
onion
1
egg
3 cans
cream of mushroom soup
1 cup
milk
1 bag
mashed potato mix
1 tablespoon
salt
1 teaspoon
nutmeg
1 teaspoon
pepper

Directions: 

  1. Combine ground round and ground pork.
  2. Crush saltines and add to meat.
  3. Finely chop onion and add to meat.
  4. Add egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg, mix well.
  5. Roll into balls.
  6. Fry over medium heat until evenly browned.
  7. Drain excess fat.
  8. Add mushroom soup and milk to frying pan, stirring gently.
  9. Cook at low, simmer for one hour.
  10. Serve with mashed potatoes.
  11. Serves 4.
