Jacobson's Famous Homemade Brats Cooked in Beer

Ingredients:

Jacobson’s bratwurst
2-4 tablespoons
butter or oleo
1
onion, quartered
beer

Directions: 

  1. Place brats in a pan on the stove; pour enough beer to cover them.
  2. Add onions and butter. Simmer for about 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, light the grill.
  4. Remove brats from beer, reserving beer & onion mixture.
  5. Brown the brats on the grill.
  6. Return the beer mixture and keep warm until ready to serve.
